Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Joanie Kemper rooted herself in the Nashville music scene in 2020 when she moved there to attend Lipscomb University. She spent her first two years in Music City experimenting with her sound which can be heard in her five song project titled, Ebb and Flow. From there, she established her unique tone as a folk-pop artist which is showcased in her most recent release and debut album Storyteller. Her rich storytelling and ear for creating memorable melodies, lead to a record full of color that leave listeners with a sense of calmness and connection.
